Very frequently in the game special event cars are up for grabs. They come as either story mode races or as proving grounds. In this post I will be talking about how you can beat the story mode race. PR matters most in this type of a special event.

The story mode races usually last 7 days. You need to complete atleast 4 days of racing to keep some blueprints. You may later get blueprints from the crates to unlock the car. Completing day 6 will let you keep more, but only when you complete all 7 days will you be able to unlock the car. Some cars also unlock car series which is a bonus. Almost all races in the story mode are easy. There a couple on day 6 and 7 which may need additional plays.

Your experience may vary based on the fuel capacity you have. The number you have on the top right corner. This capacity starts from 5 and goes up based on your VIP level. It recharges once every 50 mins. How you increase VIP level is part of a different post I am working on. I am on VIP level 4 with fuel capacity 6, just saying.

The first 3 days are the most important of the entire endeavour. As you win a race you cannot play it again unless its a replayable one (Replayables start from day 3). So…

Tip1: Don’t complete day 1 or day 2 until day 3.
This may sound funny but the first two days are the best for earning some cash. Believe me, in the latter end of this you will appreciate a huge amount of cash. Cash can be used to reset the materials in the market, buy materials in the market. Cash is essential when you are upgrading any part.
You will find a race in the first two days which allows you to drift, draft to your hearts content to earn some cash. My take on this would a race which will let you earn around 2.5k or 3k per race. Find this one and keep repeating. By the end of day 2, make sure to earn around 70-80k. More the better.

Tip2: When you reach day 3, make sure to complete all pending races before day 3 ends. This also means that you should have fuel left to start the next day. Planning when you begin the series is important. Don’t start very early in the day, in case you sleep late, all your effort will go in vain having few races left for completion.

Tip3: Day 4 onwards just concentrate on winning as many races as you can. Losing a race will hit harder than it would for first 3 days.

Tip4: Replayable races only when you are stuck at some PR or when you have completed all races for the day. Alternatively, you could try for materials early on so that you will have better performance when you hit a race and achieve a PR even before it is needed.

Tip5: Do not, I mean DO NOT, spend gold to skip a race. Not worth it at all. Instead, you may use one refuelling for 90 Gold just as a measure in case you couldn’t follow the above tips. Ideally, you wouldn’t need to.

Tip6: This is kind of a given, but you should have good skills with your car, instant drift/draft/turns and all.

I personally follow all these and these are based on my experience. Of course, with the controlled nature of the game most others too would follow something similar. However, it may not be everyone’s cup of tea to spare time in the day to play. Continuous time spend for 7 days is not easy.

Those cars wont be yours without hard work. Or. Higher the VIP level, higher the capacity, more the privilege to not need to play too often in the day. But a high VIP level is not necessary.

All the best. And relax after every few minutes or so. Health is the ultimate wealth, remember?
